Volunteers have played a significant role in the history of Catherine House, and still do today. With the support of volunteers, we can provide more services for women who are experiencing homelessness.
There are many ways you can volunteer your time, energy and passion to support the work of Catherine House. Due to the nature of the service we provide, volunteer opportunities based at our locations are limited.
We are often looking for volunteers to help out at the Catherine House Women’s Centre across a range of areas such as art, music and IT. Any available volunteer roles will be posted on this page as they arise, and we also advertise the roles via our social media platforms. We are also always looking for volunteers to assist at events and fundraising.

Gardener
About the volunteer roles:
We are on the lookout for three passionate and reliable gardeners to volunteer 3-4 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday.
Catherine House has a range of small, low-maintenance gardens that provide pleasure and sanctuary for clients. The purpose of this role is to keep these gardens looking their very best to enhance the beauty of our outdoor areas which also helps the recovery of clients, as they are directly impacted by their environment.
