Food & Housekeeping Services Worker
Location: Adelaide CBD
Employment type: Part time, fixed term until June 2027
Salary: $35.58 per hour plus 12% superannuation (dependent on experience)

You will play a vital role in ensuring our residents have access to nutritious meals and a clean, welcoming environment while supporting them to build independent living skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong organisational skills, and is passionate about contributing to the wellbeing of women in our community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and preparing fresh, healthy, and culturally sensitive meals
- Coordinating menus and maintaining food safety standards
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness across shared spaces
- Supporting residents to build independent living skills such as cooking and cleaning
- Collaborating with the team to ensure a safe, positive, and trauma-informed environment
This is a part time, fixed term role (19 hours per week), three days per week, 10.30am – 5.30pm.
You will have:
- Certificate II in Kitchen Operations and a Food Safety Certificate
- Experience preparing nutritious meals and maintaining food safety standards
- Strong organisational skills and reliability
- Experience working with people with high-level needs (desirable)
- A compassionate, trauma-informed approach when supporting residents
- Flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication skills
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
