The Catherine House Ambassador Program commenced in 2019 as a way for our community to get involved, raise funds and awareness, and volunteer for Catherine House. By becoming a Catherine House Community Ambassador, you will be making a tangible difference to the many women who experience homelessness in South Australia.
As a Catherine House Community Ambassador, your responsibilities will be to: – Attend a compulsory information session at Catherine House. – Create a fundraising page using our online platform Raisely. – Organise a minimum of one fundraising activity or event benefiting Catherine House. – Commit to raising a minimum of $1,064 to support one week of accommodation for a woman entering our crisis program. – Utilise your networks (family, colleagues, etc.) to raise awareness for women’s homelessness and Catherine House. – Volunteer for a minimum of one day or at one fundraising event – e.g. sorting donations, Bunnings BBQ, volunteering at events.
