Thank you, Her Excellency

This week marks the conclusion of an inspiring chapter as Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, 36th Governor of South Australia, completes her term. 💜

As our esteemed patron, Her Excellency has been an incredible advocate for women experiencing homelessness, using her platform to amplify the mission of Catherine House. Her leadership has fostered collaboration and driven advocacy.

We are deeply grateful for her unwavering support, from hosting the Catherine House Recognition & Awards Ceremony at Government House, celebrating the dedication of our community and partners and addressing guests at our 2024 Gala Dinner, where she highlighted Catherine House as South Australia’s only homelessness and recovery service for women.

Her Excellency’s commitment extended to direct engagement with our leadership team, including virtual meetings with Julie Duncan and Jaylee Cooper and hosting a luncheon at Government House in April 2025, bringing together organisations to share perspectives and solutions.

We are grateful to Her Excellency for her genuine partnership and compassion. Her legacy will continue to inspire us as we work towards a future where every woman has the opportunity for a safe, dignified life.
