Thank you, Julie Duncan

We would like to share an important update with our Catherine House community.

After 11 years, including 5 years leading Catherine House, our Director Julie Duncan, has announced she will step down from her role in late May 2026 to take up a new leadership opportunity in the South Australian community housing sector.

During her time with Catherine House, Julie has played a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation and raising awareness of our work supporting women experiencing homelessness. Under her leadership, Catherine House has continued to grow in impact and sustainability, including progressing the New Generation Catherine House project, which remains central to our future.

While leadership changes are never easy, we are confident that Catherine House is well positioned for the future. Plans are now underway to ensure continuity of leadership, and we will keep our community updated as interim arrangements are confirmed and recruitment for a permanent appointment progress.

We extend our sincere thanks to Julie for her commitment, care and leadership, and we wish her every success in the next chapter of her career.
