Walk for Respect with Rotary

On October 11th, Catherine House staff attended Rotary’s Walk for Respect, to raise awareness for domestic and family violence in South Australia.

There are times when what’s needed most is not quiet support behind the scenes, but presence. The kind that fills streets, parks, and public spaces. The kind that makes it impossible to ignore the issue at hand.

Mass presence is power. It sends a message to governments, institutions, and society: We see this. We care. We demand better. It shifts the narrative from isolated tragedy to collective urgency. It shows survivors they are not alone. It shows perpetrators that we will not tolerate silence or complicity.

We are so grateful to be advocates for women and support reform in our community.
