Songs Inside Screening Fundraiser

On Friday 9 May, Catherine House had the pleasure of hosting a special screening of Songs Inside at The Regal Theatre.

Songs Inside is a powerful documentary exploring the transformative impact of music on incarcerated women. Hundreds of community supporters witnessed the heartfelt journey of women at the Adelaide Women’s Prison as they collaborated with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra for a life-changing performance.

The healing power of music was a guiding force that helped these women face trauma, overcome addiction, and rebuild their lives.

After the screening, there was an inspiring Q&A with our Philanthropy and Engagement Manager Jaylee Cooper, the filmmakers, and the Songbirds themselves.

All ticket proceeds supported Catherine House and the Social Impact Campaign, working to create positive change for incarcerated women.

We are so grateful to be a part of nights like these that bring the community together for a great cause.
