Become a Community Ambassador for Catherine House!
Started in 2019, the Catherine House Community Ambassador Program is a way for our community to get involved, raise funds, awareness and volunteer for us. As an Ambassador, we ask that you attend Ambassador events, hold a minimum of one fundraising activity for Catherine House, and volunteer with us.

How long does the Community Ambassador program run for?
The program runs for 12 months, from January to December, so you have the whole year to get organised and start fundraising or even host multiple events!
How much of a commitment is expected?
Other than organising one fundraising event within the calendar year (or more, if you want!), we ask that you spend roughly one hour per week advocating for Catherine House. This could mean having conversations within your network, sharing our social media posts or keeping yourself informed with the latest homelessness news.
How much money do I need to raise?
There is no minimum fundraising amount required, however we do suggest you set yourself a goal. When you set up your online fundraising page, your goal will default to $350, but you are welcome to change this. It’s always a great idea to aim high! The more funds that are raised, the more we can support women experiencing homelessness.

Applications to our Ambassador program will open on Monday, November 6th. The process is simple – fill out the online form and our Fundraising & Campaign Coordinator, Molly, will be in touch. After that, successful applicants will be invited to attend an information session and officially become Catherine House Ambassadors!
