Women’s Centre Recovery Program Activities Coordinator 

 

Part time- 32.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm

Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award

Social Community Services Employee

Level 3 Pay Point 1 to 4 (depending on experience)

This role will allow the incumbent to contribute to the development of clients through their participation in life changing courses and activities.

 

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will be required to have:

  • Skills in supporting and encouraging clients to participate in activities
  • Skills in recruitment and supporting volunteers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability, time management and organisational skills
  • IT data reporting skills/experienced in Word, Excel and Publisher
  • Holds or is able to hold a current DHS Disability Services Employment Screening
  • Sensitivity to working with people who have a range of high and complex needs
  • Current Driver’s License

Housekeeper/Cleaner

 

Part time

20 hours per week

Tuesday to Friday 8.00am – 1.00pm (hours are negotiable)

Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award

Social Community Services Employee- Level 1 Pay Point 3 to 4 depending on experience

Loadings apply for Public Holiday work

Skills and Experience

  • Strong housekeeping skills
  • Food handling and cooking skills
  • Committed to and experienced in delivering quality housekeeping/cleaning standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Standards
  • Flexibility and reliability, time management and organisational skills
  • Holds a current (not older than 3 months at time of commencement) or is able to hold current DHS Disability Services Employment Screening Certificate
  • Sensitivity to working with people who have a range of high and complex needs, including mental health and substance misuse issues
  • Drivers Licence
