Housekeeper/Cleaner – Part Time
Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award
Social Community Services Employee Level 2 Pay Point 1 ($26.76/hour)
Generous Salary Packaging is available
The hours of work are Tuesday-Friday, approximately 20 hrs per week. Shift times will be negotiated with the successful candidate. Some weekend work may be available for the right applicant, once the probationary period is complete. Weekend penalty rates would apply.
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner with the following:
• Strong housekeeping skills
• Food handling and cooking skills
• Committed to and experienced in delivering quality housekeeping/cleaning standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Food Safety Certificate
• Flexibility and reliability, time management and organisational skills
• Holds, or is able to hold, a current DHS Disability Services Employment Screening Certificate
• Sensitivity to working with people who have a range of high and complex needs, including mental health and substance misuse issues
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
