School Fundraising & Education
The Catherine House Fundraising and Education Program is a Toolkit which provides primary and secondary schools with fun ideas and suggestions as to how their school can support the work of Catherine House. The aim of these activities is to allow students to develop an understanding of the issues that lead to homelessness so they might respond with empathy for women experiencing homelessness rather than judging the woman for her predicament.
These activities are designed to facilitate reflection, and for students to understand that homelessness is real; every woman who experiences homelessness has a story, and each of them are individuals experiencing crisis in their lives.
Make supporting Catherine House a Social Impact Values Indicator or Key Performance Indicator at your workplace.
From morning teas, bake offs, casual days, raffles, to workplace events such as quiz nights and golf days, or even coordinating donation drives of much need items, there are countless ways for you and your peers to raise vital funds and awareness for the clients of Catherine House.
