DESCRIPTION:Celebrate all things women and wine at the Strathmore Hotel on International Women’s Day eve\, Friday March 7 2025. \n\n\n\nJoin us for 3 course lunch\, an incredible wine selection and to hear from the the Queen of Fiano\, Corrina Wright of Oliver’s Taranga. \n\n\n\nCorrina is a champion for women in the industry\, from her position as a committee member on the WGA Diversity\, Equality & Inclusion charter for the Australian Wine Industry. In addition\, Corrina holds an advisory board position for the Australian Women in Wine Awards\, and is an active participant in Family Business Australia\, and was recognised by them as a Leading Woman in Business in 2022. \n\n\n\nAlso joining us is chief storyteller; journalist\, wine writer and author\, Katie Spain. Katie will be interviewing an amazing array of women from our SA wine community including: \n\n\n\n\nSarah Burvill\, Bird In Hand\n\n\n\nKerri Thompson\, Skillogalee &\n\n\n\nSteph Dutton\, Penfolds\n\n\n\n\nFor an insider chat\, sharing stories\, having a bit of fun\, empowering and inspiring all at once! Whether you’re a trivia buff or just looking for a fun night out\, expect an evening packed with brain-teasing questions\, laughter\, and friendly competition. \n\n\n\nTickets are just $25 and 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Catherine House. Happenstance Distillery has plenty of gin for you to enjoy\, and the bar is stocked with beer\, wine\, and bubbles too. You are welcome to bring your own cheeseboard.
